Description

Giclée Prints are Museum-quality Fine-Art reproductions, also called “Archival-Prints”. These artworks are made with an ultra-high-resolution inkjet printer, using the very finest archival inks and papers. These papers are acid free and consists of a 100% rag (cotton) base.

I have my artwork professionally photographed or scanned. My publisher/printer will adjust the color, so the prints will look exactly the same as the originals. These prints are generally referred to as digital reproductions or copies of original works of art.

I offer these prints as affordable alternatives to the more expensive originals. The giglée prints are signed unlimited editions, therefore I can offer them at lower prices.

About the image

This painting of my horse Binky is very popular because of the different perspective. I was sitting down on the ground when Binky stuck his head over the fence. I looked up and took this photograph. It is a very old painting, but so many people wanted to buy it, that I decided to offer it as a giclée print.

I got this email a couple of years ago:
“Hi Anita,
About 15 years ago, I saw the image of Binky’s painting in a newsletter of either VADA NOVA or CDCTA. I was a member of both and I don’t remember which newsletter it was. I loved the image and I think I remember that you showed Binky in dressage. I called or emailed you about buying the painting or getting a print made. You didn’t want to sell the painting (I don’t blame you- I wouldn’t want to either!). I don’t think getting a single print made was an option either, so that was that. Since then, I have noticed your work on the covers of magazines and other places. I like all of it!
My husband and I just bought an old house west of Berryville and have a little more wall space than in our last house. So I googled your name and came up with your website. I saw Binky’s image again and had remembered it all this time. Seemed like it wouldn’t hurt to make another inquiry. I am very excited that I can get a print after all these years!” S. E.
